For companies in the storage logistics and distribution logistics sector, deploying modern auto ID to automatically and reliably process mail and parcels in goods receipt and goods issue processes is essential, as objects can only be automatically sorted and placed in stock and flows of goods posted after the goods item has been accurately identified.

What's unique: for barcode, 2D and simple OCR applications, all components are combined compactly in a single device. This not only saves space, but also makes it easier to transport the systems and get them up and running.

The VICAM SSI2 is a proprietary VITRONIC development. The software and hardware come from a single source. The camera is now in its 8th generation and over 5,500 instances have been deployed in intralogistics worldwide, usually as part of an auto ID system.
