Three Dimensional Measuring of Pallet Volume and Weight with Best Possible Measuring Accuracy

The VIPAC D3 volume measurement system is a certified solution for measuring any loaded pallets of a very large size.

VIPAC D3 enables rapid, reliable weighing and measuring in a single work step, at the highest possible resolution (20mm x 20mm x 10mm) with maximum measuring accuracy.

The measuring is done by two infrared laser scanners (raster scanners) that move on a linear guide rail along the measuring area at a constant speed. The movement is continuously tracked with an incremental encoder. The large measuring area (3500mm x 2500mm x 2800mm) enables a combination of several pallets to be measured.

The system is certified under OIML R129 and MID, it has an integrated alibi memory, and there is the option to integrate data from weight and barcode readers. Additional software for flexible customizing of the interfaces can run on the integrated PC.

Additional functions, such as the excluding of forklift trucks and electric stackers, the combining of the weighing of forklifts and electric stackers, the recording of damage with a USB camera, and much more, are options for systems that are not subject to certified calibration.
