The robot vision solution VIRO 2D can be used to see, pick up and simultaneously inspect objects, and can even be tailored to customer-specific needs.

Robot vision is mainly used with defined, reproducible, stable component or object positions on a coordinate plane. The remaining coordinates of the general and rotational positions are determined in order to calculate the pick-up point of the component or object for the robot application.

VIRO 2D can also be used to simultaneously inspect the size, dimensions and quality of components - through a combination of 2D inspection and further, definable tasks. For example, 2D CFP cuts are identified at the same time as the dimensions are inspected to ensure compliance with tolerance limits.
