• VITRONIC has been an innovation driver in image processing for more than 35 years.
  • Innovations are thought around the corner
  • Looking ahead: global archiving in demand

The supply chains of logistics service providers are all about reliability, cost-effectiveness and efficiency. For more than 35 years, VITRONIC has been offering innovative system solutions for logistics automation and continues to drive technical development with state-of-the-art camera systems and innovative software.

In the beginning, there were only analog matrix cameras with a resolution of 1,000 x 800 pixels on the market. This corresponds to about one hundredth of the data generated by line scan cameras today.

Innovations are thought around the corner, and so VITRONIC at that time focused on developing camera technology that was not yet suitable for mass production. And it was right - today it is one of the central addressees of solutions in the logistics environment.

In the future, manufacturers will continue to work closely with customers to automate their shipment and goods registration processes. At the same time, intelligent solutions for digital data management and the networking of all supply chain processes will be delivered. It is all the more important as the logistics industry is increasingly characterized by the fierce competition of internationally networked markets. Large CEP service providers are therefore standardizing their supply chains more and more. Accordingly, global networking is of central importance. But the data required is not always transparent.
