New battery technology enables faster on-site charging and reduces operational travel time.
VITRONIC has delivered the first Poliscan Enforcement Trailer of the latest version to NWS Sicherheitsservice GmbH. The handover took place in Neuötting on June 24, 2026. The new trailer is already the third system in NWS’s portfolio and represents another important step toward supporting municipal traffic enforcement in Bavaria with greater flexibility and efficiency.
NWS Sicherheitsservice primarily deploys the Enforcement Trailer in Bavaria. Typical locations include accident hotspots and high-risk areas, particularly sensitive zones near kindergartens and schools, as well as urban roads where speeding can lead to dangerous situations. The trailer enables semi-stationary traffic enforcement for up to 30 days, including at temporary risk locations where no permanent infrastructure is available. Its protected design and flexible positioning allow such locations to be monitored effectively without exposing enforcement personnel to unnecessary risks on the road.
A key factor in the customer’s decision to select the new version was the further developed battery concept. The upgraded system can be charged significantly faster and powered via public charging infrastructure, wall boxes or suitable AC charging stations. This reduces the operational effort required in daily use: long journeys for recharging or replacing energy units are minimized, while the trailer can be returned to service more quickly. For service providers such as NWS, which must respond flexibly to different enforcement locations on behalf of municipalities and intermunicipal associations, this represents a tangible efficiency gain.
We are open to innovation as a company and are delighted to receive the first trailer of VITRONIC’s latest version. We were particularly impressed by the significant quality improvements, especially the modern battery technology. The ability to charge the system quickly on site allows us to save travel and working time while also reducing our environmental impact.
With the delivery of the latest trailer version, VITRONIC is strengthening its portfolio for flexible, efficient and safe traffic enforcement. The trailer upgrade combines proven measurement technology with an enhanced operating concept that is particularly relevant for municipalities and service providers working across changing deployment locations.
