The VITUS BODYSCAN 3D body scanner scans the human body within seconds in 3D. The result, i.e. the measurement volume, including full set of 3D data, is ideally suited for use in CAD designs for the automotive industry or workplace design.
The data set from the three-dimensional body scan is integrated into CAD models using the RAMSIS human model. This enables all of the requirements for a healthy, functional and pleasant environment to be integrated into the true-to-detail, simulated reality at an early stage. The short scan process and fast integration give rise to cost-effective and efficient implementation of ergonomic design requirements.
