For many years, VITRONIC has been actively involved with the "Zwerg Nase" children's hospice in Wiesbaden. In 2023, their sup-port takes the form of a lifting aid, allowing the children to "fly" and making daily tasks easier for caregivers.
Guided by the vision of creating a safe and worthwhile world, VITRONIC con-sistently dedicates itself to charitable causes. In 2024, the focus is once again on the "Zwerg Nase" children's hospice in Wiesbaden. Established in 2005, the "Zwerg Nase" house has played a crucial role in improving the lives of children with various medical needs. Noteworthy are the specialized areas for children with epilepsy and the section that houses twelve children and young adults requiring continuous ventilation. In total, there are 84 spaces available to care for and support affected families, ranging from infants to young adults.
This year, VITRONIC's commitment to Zwerg Nase takes a step further. VITRONIC is donating a lifting aid, representing more than just technology and mechanics. It brings relief to the children and caregivers, creating new freedoms and making everyday movements more pleasant, especially for those grappling with immobility.
The lifting aid is a tremendous relief for my work on the ward, especially in caring for older children. Without it, lifting the children alone would be impossible. With the lifting aid, I can easily transport them from bed to wheelchair or to the shower bed. It enriches my entire work, and the chil-dren describe the lifting as flying and have fun."
The partnership between VITRONIC and Zwerg Nase looks forward to a hope-ful future with even more support for a safe and worthwhile environment for the children and the house.
At VITRONIC, we are fully aware of our social and re-gional responsibility. The development of Zwerg Nase in recent years is ex-tremely gratifying, especially in the new home with numerous additional beds and children. Our commitment to this project is in the best hands."
