It’s all about dimensioning from VITRONIC at this year's Parcel + Post in Frankfurt. From October 18 to 20, 2022 meet the team at booth No. 1088 where the machine vision company is showcasing its expertise in certified dimensioning on all sorters.

VITRONIC’s 3D volume measuring system VOLUMEC HD 3.x can detect even the tiniest of items from 20 mm in height and is certified for all conveyor systems. Inline and with throughput speeds of up to 3 m/s, the system captures the dimensions and contours of the transported shipments in any rotational position along conveyor systems. With certifications for conveyor belts, cross belt sorters and tilt tray sorters, VOLUMEC HD 3.x is one of the most versatile systems on the market.

The 3D volume measurement system determines the volume of cuboid and arbitrarily shaped objects using a special camera-based laser scan and can thus reliably measure even very small and very flat packages. Certified dimensioning is vital for CEP providers to realize automatic invoicing to protect their revenue.

Expo guests can join product demos taking place four times a day followed by live Q&A sessions. Everyone is also invited to the talk on “Revenue Recovery Thanks to Certified Dimensioning” at the conference on the first day of Parcel + Post Expo.
