VITRONIC starts vaccinating its employees against Covid-19 with immediate effect. The vaccination will be carried out with the Johnson&Johnson vaccine - an offer from the in-house company doctor Dr. Velten. All employees receive a vaccination offer. Family members of colleagues can also be vaccinated. Special appointments are made for those who are indispensable for maintaining operations and supply chains and for the safe operation of the Rhein Main site. Special relief is provided within the workforce: Colleagues, qualified through many years of experience in the rescue service and in the mobile vaccination team in Rhineland-Palatinate, also volunteer to work in the medical team.

We are very pleased that we can now also directly contribute to increasing safety and the start of "normal life".

"It was important for us to quickly implement the vaccination option through our company doctor. Because now we have to pull together. With our know-how of image processing in the healthcare sector and our capacities, we at VITRONIC have been helping for some time to contain this pandemic in order to return to a normal life," says Daniel Scholz-Stein, CEO of the VITRONIC Group.

To ensure a smooth process, the company is relying on the existing infrastructure for the Covid 19 vaccination, which has already proven its worth during previous flu vaccination campaigns. Colleagues also have the option of being vaccinated at the company doctor's office.

"The entire staff was motivated behind all the measures right from the start. For weeks now, there has been a great demand for voluntary vaccinations so that they can finally get back to their private activities and professional projects with a clear conscience," says Scholz-Stein.
