• The Ministry of Equipment represented by Roadway Security Department has awarded VITRONIC with the delivery, installation, and maintenance of over 500 systems for speed and red light enforcement with software for the processing center. • For the first time in Morocco, laser systems will strengthen the country's enforcement network and improve traffic safety. • Traffic monitoring technology is a key focus of the national traffic safety strategy. • The contract value is in the lower double-digit million range.

VITRONIC is pleased to announce that it has secured a notable contract with the Kingdom of Morocco for the delivery of over 500 traffic control systems. This is part of the national strategy for traffic safety in the region. VITRONIC as a group will implement the project with its local partner, Alomra Group International.

Relying on the POLISCAN product family, the laser systems will be deployed in twelve country regions and their metropolises such as Casablanca, Rabat, and Marrakesh for fixed speed enforcement, average speed enforcement and the monitoring of traffic light intersections. The leading-edge, laser-based measuring equipment will broaden the country's existing enforcement system infrastructure to improve traffic safety effectively.

VITRONIC will install the superior housing platform, COMPACT CITY HOUSING, throughout the country on a large scale. The solution will enforce traffic from an elevated position up to three meters in height.

In addition to the roadside equipment, VITRONIC will supply the back-office software for case data processing. Captured offenses will be processed at the data center in the capital city of Rabat. The new software will be integrated into the customer's existing environment.

VITRONIC Group will equip and staff four service locations in the country to cover the demand for on-site services. An initial three-year maintenance agreement is also an integral part of the contract.
