EXPO 2020 in Dubai is a multinational, futuristic world exhibition where innovations and new ideas, as well as technology and progress, are celebrated and lived. People from all countries visit the exhibition to be informed and inspired on the topics of sustainability, mobility, opportunities and much more.

Therefore, it is an even bigger honour for VITRONIC Middle East team that will be on site from November onwards to share innovations and ideas in the field of Traffic and Smart City with the whole world.

Through our long-term customer, Dubai Police, we have the opportunity to be a part of EXPO 2020 for a limited time as part of the Dubai Ministry of Interior Platform.

On site, we will mainly present the application areas of our systems in the context of smart city solutions and traffic safety, and visitors will also have the opportunity to learn about the joint successes that VITRONIC Middle East has achieved with partners in the Middle East. These include, among others, achieving a significant reduction in traffic fatalities with the installation of the first traffic enforcement systems in the region in 2009. Between 2014 and 2018 alone, the number of fatalities from traffic accidents dropped from 712 to 468, despite a significant increase in new registrations and an exponential expansion of the road network.

Our presence at the Ministry of Interior's Fazaa Pavilion strengthens our long-standing partnership with this important ministry and our highly valued customer, the Dubai Police, and showcases to a wide audience our solutions for increased safety and better connectivity not only on the roads but across the infrastructure.
